Project Coordinator

Role and responsibilities

Your core role of a Project Coordinator is to support the delivery of all types of energy projects completed by Fēnix Energy. This requires an introductory understanding of energy system design and construction projects for buildings. You are a self-starter and a team player with the ability to receive and execute work with little or moderate supervision. Excellent communication skills are a must especially because you’ll be coordinating delivery with team members.

Core competencies

  • Experienced in the independent delivery of assigned tasks
  • Competent in delivering feasibility studies and design reports including financial and regulatory analysis
  • Efficient in supporting mechanical design and construction management work completed by the project team

Required skills and qualifications

  • Management: Organization, coordination, decision-making and problem solving skills
  • Communication: Great written, visual and oral skills
  • Quality: Dependable, adaptable, accurate and detail oriented
  • Computer: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, CAD
  • Experience: Minimum 0-3 years
  • Designations: E.I.T., ASct, LEED AP, PMP

Lead Maintenance Technician

Role and responsibilities

Your role as a Lead Maintenance Technician is to complete service work on buildings’ HVAC equipment and coordinate staff and subcontractors.  You must have a detailed understanding of buildings’ mechanical systems and equipment. You are a self-starter and a team player with the ability to receive and execute work with little or moderate supervision. Using excellent communication skills, you’ll be coordinating all service work and mentoring junior staff.

Core competencies

  • Coordinate and perform preventative maintenance work
  • Coordinate and perform emergency call-out work
  • Support and provide expertise to design and construction projects
  • Mentor and train junior staff

Required skills and qualifications

  • Leadership: Mentoring and supervisory skills
  • Management: Organization, coordination, delegation, decision-making and problem solving skills
  • Communication: Great written, visual, oral skills
  • Quality: Dependable, adaptable, accurate and detail oriented
  • Experience: Minimum five years
  • Designations: Plumber, Gasfitter, or Refrigeration ticket preferred
