Adrian is scheduled to participate in Featured Speaker Panel III: Environmental Resourcing: BC’s Energy Factor, where he’ll discuss the new paradigm Fēnix Energy is building through its Thermal Energy Assets: creating the greenest cities across North America one building at at a time, and promising “no more trade-off between the environment and the bottom-line”.
The Tuesday morning panel brings together energy representatives to discuss how a new era of green development is intricately linked with the more responsible use and distribution of existing energy sources. The panel explores BC’s role in connecting the provinces existing renewable and non-renewable energy market to international buyers. Panelists will discuss the “how” for the resource sector:
- How are these changes impacting international climate change targets, i.e. Paris, Kyoto, Marrakech.
- What will the resource sector do next?

The 21st annual PAQS Congress is hosted by the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (CIQS). CIQS is the premier professional association, governing professional quantity surveying in Canada. CIQS is also a functional part of various other professional Quantity Surveying organizations around the world such as the International Cost Engineering Council (ICEC) and the European Council of Construction Economists (CEEC).
